Visa Requirement

Requirements:

  1. One completed application form
  2. One recent passport size photograph
  3. Copy passport (all the written pages) - Passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of intended travel
  4. Copy of itinerary
  5. A recent health certificate (see additional doc)
  6. Invitation letter/identification proof of the sponsor for tourist visa

For children below 18 years of age:

The following documents are required to support the visa application of a child to enter Suriname. The documents must be legalized. Affidavits are not accepted.

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Copy of legal documents of guardianship ( if applicable);
  3. Letter of consent:
    - If a child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent is needed from the other parent;
    - If a child is travelling alone a letter of consent is needed from both parents permitting travel;
    - Death Certificate, in case one or both parents are deceased.

Additional Documents :

  1. Health certificate from an authorized hospital/ doctor/ health center which exempt the applicant from HIV-AIDS/Leprosy/Venereal Diseases/Tuberculosis/Hepatitis B and other contagious diseases
  2. Yellow Fever Vaccination
  3. Internship or voluntary work, etc. (period: maximum 90 days)
    Supporting documents needed.
    - Copy of return ticket
    - Official letter of the authorized institution/organization confirming the purpose and period of stay in Suriname
  4. Business Visa
    Supporting documents needed:
    - an extract from the Chamber of Commerce of the inviting company in Suriname
    - an official invitation letter from the business partner/ company in Suriname
    - a copy of the return ticket
  5. Visa for minor children
    Supporting documents needed:
    - Birth Certificate
    - Copy of legal documents of guardianship, if applicable
    - Letter of consent :
    If the child is travelling with one parent, a letter of consent from the other parent
    If the child is travelling alone a letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
    - Death Certificate, in case one or both parents are deceased
